Further, assist with manuscript preparation, including conducting literature searches, produce relevant Tables and Figures, write draft narrative, and format manuscripts for suggested journals. In addition, participate in regularly (i.e., weekly) scheduled Marsh Bird Team conference calls and regularly (i.e., weekly) supervisory calls as necessary. This position is best suited for an individual who is a self-starter and self-motivated but must work successfully in team-oriented work environment.

The TK Martin Center is seeking a licensed or license-eligible speech language pathologist with experience in early intervention services to support a pilot project at the TK Martin Center and expertise in AAC evaluations or willingness to receive training. This position will have a primary role of serving young children, ages birth to three, qualifying for early intervention services in the state of Mississippi. Children may present with complex communication needs. This role may involve assisting with early intervention assessments for infants and toddlers who present with developmental delays. This position will require intimate work with a multidisciplinary team to maximize the outcomes of children (and their families) receiving services. Trainings may be required in evidence-based practice. Those with experience may also assist with AAC evaluations for the TKMC. This position will require travel within the state of Mississippi. If not already in possession, it will be encouraged in the duration of the first year of employment to receive the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association.

Engages and advocates for military-connected students in support of their overall success including their onboarding, persistence, and graduation. Working as the primary point of contact for military-connected students, the student experience coordinator assesses needs and then coordinates those needs with the appropriate MSU staff and faculty. Through an established network of campus-wide staff and faculty and using local and campus-wide databases, reports, and systems, the Student Experience Coordinator monitors indicators of student success and failure and then takes appropriate action towards improvement or risk-mitigation. This position is primarily responsible for intaking military-connected students into the Center’s benefit and needs program and includes understanding and counseling/advising students and their parents or custodians regarding benefits, resources, and services for MSU military-connected students. This includes knowledge and understanding of military-connected benefits and resources including local, State and Federal assistance programs (MSU scholarships, National Guard programs, Department of Veteran Affairs GI Bill Education benefits, ROTC programs, etc.). It also includes campus-wide programs that provide services in support of student success needs (financial, physical, mental, academic, etc.). Directly liaisons with the University’s recruiting efforts and is the Center’s primary coordinator for all recruiting and awareness events including Orientation, Fall and Spring Preview Days, Academic Insight Days and off-campus recruiting and engagement events.

They will provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to children with Autism, related developmental disorders, and behavioral disorders (e.g., impulse regulation issues, social navigation issues) in a school-based setting. The Registered Behavioral Technician will directly implement behavioral protocols, conduct behavioral skills training, collect data on programs, model program implementation for parents and school staff, and assist the Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) with clinical assessments as needed.
